An opportunity to join a well-established manufacturing organisation at its Minto site. The business is seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join its maintenance team on a permanent 12-hour
night shift
roster.
The Role
Working across a fast-paced manufacturing environment, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing production equipment to maximise plant reliability and minimise downtime.
Key responsibilities include:
Respond to electrical and mechanical breakdowns across production equipment
Fault-find and repair PLC-controlled machinery, motors, drives, VFDs, sensors and control systems
Maintain and repair conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, pneumatics, hydraulics and other mechanical equipment
Complete preventative and reactive maintenance activities
Identify recurring equipment issues and implement corrective actions
Support machinery upgrades, installations and reliability improvement projects
Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation




Ensure all work is completed in line with site safety and LOTO procedures
Your Background
A-grade Electrical License
Strong mechanical fault-finding capability is essential for non-dual trade candidates
Experience within manufacturing, FMCG, food processing, packaging or a similar industrial environment
Strong electrical and mechanical breakdown experience
Experience with PLC-controlled equipment and industrial automation
Pneumatic and hydraulic experience highly regarded
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and manage breakdowns during night shift operations
