Trade Assistant - Roles & Responsibilities:
n
n
Assist tradespeople with daily tasks, maintenance, repairs, and project work.
n
Operate hand and power tools safely and competently.
n
Prepare and maintain worksites, including cleaning, organising tools and materials, and ensuring safe access.
n
Transport tools, equipment,



and materials around the site as directed.
n
Perform general labouring tasks, including painting, cleaning, rubbish removal, and assisting with basic repairs.
n
Support routine maintenance, including inspecting equipment, lubrication tasks, minor mechanical tasks, or helping with shutdown activities.
n
Follow WHS procedures, report hazards, and ensure secure work practices.
n
Work under direction of tradespeople or supervisors and complete tasks within timeframes. Assist with fault-finding, part replacement, and mechanical servicing (as directed).
n
Perform basic data entry, follow equipment manuals, and assist in confined or awkward spaces when required.
n

Requirements:
n
n
Valid Australian driver's licence
n
White Card
(construction/mining)
n
Experience in Oil & Gas industry
n
Basic WHS knowledge
n
Forklift licence (highly regarded)
n
Breathing Apparatus(highly regarded)
n
