We are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join our team on a part-time basis, working closely with the HR Manager who will be on part-time parental leave for 8 months. This role is ideal for a hands-on HR professional who enjoys operational HR, employee relations, and supporting managers in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role
n
Reporting to the CFO, the HR Advisor will provide end-to-end HR support across the business, ensuring compliance with Australian employment legislation and company policies. You will play a key role in supporting leaders and employees while contributing to continuous improvement of HR processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide practical HR advice and support to managers and employees
n
Assist with employee relations matters, including performance management, disciplinary processes, and investigations
n
Support recruitment and onboarding activities
n
Assist with employment contracts, variations, and HR documentation
n
Support leave management,



including parental leave and return-to-work arrangements
n
Maintain HR records and ensure compliance with Fair Work and relevant legislation
n
Contribute to policy development and HR initiatives as required
n
Work collaboratively with the HR Manager to ensure continuity of HR support
n
Payroll back up support
n

About You
n
n
Proven experience in a generalist HR or HR Advisor role
n
Robust knowledge of Australian employment legislation and Fair Work requirements
n
Confident communicator with the ability to provide pragmatic, commercial HR advice
n
Highly organised with solid attention to detail
n
Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with the HR Manager
n
Experience in the HRIS and Payroll Platform Employment Hero
n
Experience in transport, logistics, or a blue-collar environment (desirable)
n
