Are you highly organised, great with people and interestedin supporting projects that help shape the future of our communities?

We are looking for a Strategic Planning Project SupportOfficer to provide administration and project support to our Strategic Planningteam.

This permanent part-time role is 0.6 EFT, Youwill help keep projects, information and customer requests on track whilesupporting planning scheme amendments, development plan overlay requests,engagement activities and other strategic planning projects. The role willinclude community engagement and consultation activities.

What you'll be doing

You'll support the team with a broad range of administrationand project tasks, including:
Coordinating correspondence, referrals, registers,records and workflows
Supporting planning scheme amendment and developmentplan overlay processes
Helping maintain project information, SharePointsites, databases and tracking tools
Assisting with community engagement,



stakeholdermeetings and communication tasks
Providing professional customer service to internaland external stakeholders
Supporting procurement, purchase orders, agendas,minutes and general administration.

What we're looking for

We're looking for someone who is organised, confident withadministration and able to work well with a range of people.

You will bring:
Experience in administration, project support orcustomer service
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Valuable attention to detail and the ability to managecompeting priorities
Confidence using Microsoft Office and electronicrecords or database systems
A helpful, professional approach when working withcustomers and stakeholders
A demonstrated commitment to learning and innovation
Ability to work in a team environment, fast paced andattention to detail.
An interest in planning, local government or communityengagement.

Experience in local government, urban planning orplanning-related systems would be highly regarded but is not essential.
