St Aloysius College Cronulla welcomes applications from experienced and collaborative educators seeking to join the College at an exciting time of growth.

We are currently seeking to employ a full-time HSIE (1.0 FTE) permanent teacher to contribute to our vibrant learning community. The ability to teach Geography in stage 4 and 5 is essential for this position. Accreditation to teach Religious Education in the Archdiocese of Sydney is a distinct advantage.

Essential Criteria:
demonstrable support and commitment to the mission, values and ethos of Catholic Education
eligibility for registration to teach in Sydney Catholic Schools
demonstrable success as a classroom teacher, with successful experience across a range of HSIE courses,



particularly in stages 4 - 6 (Geography essential in stages 4 and 5)
ability and demonstrated experience in using data and high-impact teaching strategies to maximise the learning growth of all students
strong interpersonal skills that facilitate collaboration and quality relationships in working with students and other staff
skilled and committed to working with students through a positive approach to behaviour support.

Desirable:
practising Catholic with demonstrated commitment to the teachings of the Church and active engagement in a Catholic faith community
demonstrated ability and willingness to lead and support a range of co-curricular events
Religious Education qualifications as perAccreditation Policy to Work, Teach, and Lead.
