Seadan Security is the largest Security wholesaler in Australia - with 20 stores around the nation (and will be at 30 soon!). As a part of the MM group, Seadan has been around for almost 40 years.
n
This role is for the Mt Waverley store, the original store in the group. You'll be part of an 11 person team (current).
n
What you'll do:
n
Priorities what needs to be done with all the responsibilities of the warehouse
n
Including but not limited to
n
Picking and packing customer orders, packaging the products properly so they arrive safely
n
Book freight and courier jobs with high attention to detail
n
Receiving goods in and check stock carefully against paperwork
n
Break down large boxes,



put the stock away in the correct locations and present the small boxes in the showroom as part of "putting them away"
n
Keep the warehouse and showroom clean, safe and well organised
n
Work closely with internal sales and other staff to operate as a team
n
Jump in wherever needed - this is a true all-rounder role
n
You need to bring:
n
Speed, energy and a strong work ethic
n
Excellent attention to detail, A "do it once, do it right" attitude
n
Confidence using computers, scanners and freight systems
n
Good communication and common sense (we all sell to the customers that come in/ ring in)
n
The ability to follow process without needing to be chased
n
Pride in keeping stock, orders and work areas organised
n
Reliability - you turn up, get stuck in, and help the team win
n
