Working in a strategic Alliance with Thiess and Harmony, you will form part of a collaborative team, driven by shared objectives and values to deliver operational excellence at the Eva Copper Mine Project.

The Alliance will set new benchmarks for safe, sustainable and efficient copper development, supported by commitments to local employment and procurement, recent-to-industry and Indigenous workforce development and meaningful engagement in the local community.

The Eva Copper Mine Project is located on the traditional lands of the Kalkadoon People in North West Queensland, approximately 75 km north-west of Cloncurry and about 95 km north-east of Mount Isa.

The Project is an iron-oxide copper-gold resource featuring multiple open pits and is poised to become the largest greenfield copper mine in Queensland.

Are you a Health, Safety & Training Administrator with a passion for operational excellence and innovative solutions? Thiess is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Health, Safety & Training Administratorto join our dynamic team at the Eva Copper Mine Project in the Cloncurry region of Queensland, Australia. In this role, you will play a key part in delivering secure, productive, and sustainable mining operations,



driving technical excellence and supporting project success.

As a key member of the Eva Copper Alliance team, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality mine planning and mine engineering processes to support safe, efficient operations and ensure our workforce meets Thiess and industry standards.
n
Working a ******* dayshift roster and reporting to the Manager, Health Safety & Training, your duties will include:
n

Providing administrative support to the on site HSET Team
n
Managing and raising department specific purchase orders
n
Managing and processing department specific invoices
n
Ensuring compliance with the Coal Mine Workers Health Scheme and supporting with onsite onboarding requirements
n
Data management of the client and Thiess Incident Management Systems
n
Assisting the HSET team in compiling and preparing monthly reports.
n
Performing other duties as defined by the HSET Manager
n

About you
n

Previous experience as a Health Safety and Training Administrator within a resources, construction or similar industry would be considered advantageous
n
High level of organisational and time management skills

Highly motivated and committed to meeting deadlines and delivering results

Ability to work well in a high-volume busy work environment
n
Proficiency in MS Office (specifically strong excel skills)
n
Strong attention to detail
