THE ROLE
We are seeking a reliable and motivated
Casual Housekeeper
to join the team at
Canberra Holiday Village.
In this hands‐on role, you will play an important part in ensuring our guest accommodation, amenities and shared facilities are clean, comfortable and presented to a high standard. Your attention to detail and pride in maintaining a welcoming environment will contribute directly to a positive experience for our guests.




The role includes weekend work and requires availability across a
7-day rotating roster
, with shifts and hours varying based on business needs.
Responsibilities
Clean and present guest cabins and accommodation to a high standard
Clean bathrooms, amenities, camp kitchens and shared facilities
Make beds and prepare accommodation for arriving guests
Restock linen, toiletries, cleaning products and guest supplies as required
Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of communal and recreational areas
Ensure cleaning equipment and supplies are used and stored appropriately
Identify and report maintenance, damage or safety issues to management
Support the overall cleanliness and presentation of the park
Assist with other housekeeping duties as required
ABOUT YOU
To thrive in this role, you'll bring:
Previous housekeeping, cleaning or hospitality experience (preferred)
A positive attitude and willingness to undertake hands‐on cleaning duties
Excellent attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards
The ability to work efficiently and manage your time effectively
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
A reliable and flexible approach to work
Good communication and interpersonal skills
A reasonable level of physical fitness to undertake the requirements of the role
Flexibility to work across a 7-day rotating roster, including weekends
Availability for an immediate start will be highly regarded
Remuneration
The rate of pay for this role will be in accordance with the Hospitality Industry (General) Award.
