Small Sprouts Therapy – Mount Sheridan QLD
Small Sprouts Therapy is a warm and welcoming paediatric speech pathology clinic in Mt Sheridan. We are passionate about supporting the community in which we work. The prospect has arisen for a Client Services Officer to join our team for a 12 month contract. This role is for part time hours (0.5FTE - 38 hours per fortnight), commencing in December ****. Employment conditions are as per the Health Qualified and Support Services Award (Support Services Employee Level 5).
This role provides the backbone of our daily operations. You will deliver professional, efficient customer service, while supporting our therapists and directors through a range of administrative and organisational tasks. We are looking for someone who will help ensure our therapy services run smoothly and who will contribute positively to the ongoing growth of our practice.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet clients and families in a warm, professional, and courteous manner
Respond to client enquiries and process new referrals
Maintain confidential and accurate client records
Managing referral paperwork and client service agreements
Manage inventory and order office supplies and clinic stock
Assist therapists with resource creation, preparation, and organisation
Support infection control and general tidiness of the clinic
Complete administrative tasks and support requests from the Directors
About Us
Small Sprouts Therapy is a private paediatric speech pathology clinic located in Cairns' southern suburbs. Our therapists work with children aged 0–12 years and their families across clinic, daycare, and kindergarten settings. We offer individual and group therapy, provide capacity-building services to parents, carers, and educators,



and are passionate about growing children's functional communication skills.
Our team includes six speech pathologists and one part‐time support staff member. We embrace an inclusive workplace culture with a strong focus on ongoing personal and professional development. Creativity, curiosity, and a genuine passion for paediatric work are at the heart of what we do.
We support children with a wide range of abilities, including:
Mild to complex communication disorders
Developmental disabilities and complex medical diagnoses

Eligibility Criteria
Current federal police check (or ability to obtain one)
Queensland Blue Card (or eligibility to apply)
Unrestricted driver's licence
Experience in a similar administrative role is highly regarded
