As part of our continued growth, we are establishing a new purpose-built advanced manufacturing facility in Pakenham to support expanding aerospace, defence and advanced manufacturing programs.

About the role
n
We are seeking an experienced and driven Quality Manager to lead the Quality, Environmental, Health and Safety functions at our current Pakenham facility.
n
Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, you will be responsible for the development, implementation and continuous improvement of the site's Quality Management System and further development of the Company's environmental and safety policies, procedures and systems.
n
Working closely with Production, Engineering and Supply Chain teams, you will ensure compliance with customer, regulatory and certification requirements while fostering a culture of quality, safety and continuous improvement throughout the business.

This is a key leadership position that will play an integral role in the successful establishment and ongoing operation of our new advanced manufacturing facility.

Key responsibilities
n
Lead the Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety functions for the Pakenham facility
n
Maintain and continuously improve the company's integrated management system
n
Ensure compliance with ISO ****, AS**** certification and customer-specific quality requirements
n
Continue to develop and implement the Company's environmental and health & Safety policies, procedures and systems
n




Lead internal audit programs and coordinate external certification and customer audits
n
Manage corrective and preventive action processes and drive effective root cause investigations
n
Monitor and report quality, environmental and safety performance metrics
n
Manage customer quality issues, non-conformances and complaints through to resolution
n
Lead risk assessments, environmental aspect assessments and workplace safety initiatives
n
Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, permits and licence requirements
n
About you
n
Minimum 10 years manufacturing experience
n
Minimum 5 years in a Quality leadership role, preferably in aerospace, defence, medical, automotive or other highly regulated industries
n
Demonstrated experience maintaining and improving certified management systems
n
Strong understanding of ISO **** requirements, with AS**** strongly preferred
n
Strong technical background eg engineering, machining, toolmaking
n
Experience conducting internal audits and supporting external certification audits
n
Strong understanding of quality assurance principles, root cause analysis and continuous improvement methodologies
n
Experience managing non-conformances, corrective actions and customer quality issues
n
Excellent written communication and documentation skills
n
High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
n
Strong leadership, coaching and stakeholder engagement capabilities
n
