National Webbing Products Pty Ltd, a leader in the webbing industry, is seeking a full-time Webbing Textile
Operator/Technician
to join the team in Doveton/Dandenong. The role provides the opportunity to learn the manufacturing process and specialist machinery to produce webbing related products, while exceeding customer expectations.

Key responsibilities
n
n
Warping, weaving and dyeing webbing
n
Operation, monitoring and maintenance of warping, weaving and dyeing machines while keeping efficiency and productivity to high levels
n
Measuring, marking and cutting of webbing and other fabric such as canvas and PVC
n
Working within the production team to ensure deadlines are met
n
Ensuring cleanliness of factory and work areas
n
Assisting with pack, finish and dispatch of customer orders and receipt of deliveries
n

About you
n

Ideally have experience in warping and weaving of webbings or textile materials
n
Be punctual, reliable, committed, self-motivated and able to work to a high standard
n
Be able to work as part of a team and unsupervised to deadlines
n
Be willing to learn
n
Be physically fit and able
n
Have solid organisational skills
n
Previous experience in a similar role or a manufacturing, assembling or factory environment is desirable but not essential
n
An understanding of OH&S; and Quality Assurance processes and procedures is beneficial
n
