About the Role
n
We're looking for an experienced Registered Nurse ready to take the next step into a Treatment Room Team Leader position at our busy Maroubra Medical Centre.
n
Combining hands‐on nursing with team leadership, this role will see you deliver high- quality clinical care while supporting the effective day‐to‐day operation of the treatment room. You'll work closely with the Practice Manager to coordinate staffing, support recruitment and help develop a capable, patient‐focused nursing team.
n
Previous leadership experience will be highly regarded; however, we're also open to experienced Registered Nurses who demonstrate strong leadership potential and are ready to grow.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Lead and support the day-to-day operation of the treatment room.
n
Deliver clinical care, including vaccinations, wound management, health assessments, ECG monitoring and pathology collection.
n
Triage patients and assist healthcare practitioners with procedures and treatments.
n
Build trusted relationships with patients and help them feel comfortable throughout their care.
n
Support the Practice Manager with rostering, recruitment and staff performance.
n
Coach and guide treatment room employees to deliver high-quality patient care.
n
Ensure clinical procedures and Standard Operating Procedures are understood and consistently followed.
n
Maintain a safe, organised and fully equipped clinical environment.
n




Work collaboratively with GPs, nurses and the wider medical centre team.

About You
n
To succeed in this role, you will have:
n
n
Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
n
Previous experience in general practice, primary healthcare or an acute clinical setting.
n
Leadership experience or the confidence and potential to step into a team leadership role.
n
Strong clinical, organisational and decision‐making skills.
n
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
n
A collaborative, supportive and patient‐focused leadership style.
n
The ability to work independently and take initiative when required.
n
