Broken Hill Base Hospital & Health Services is seeking a Registered Nurse with Operating Theatre experience to join their team on a three-month contract, starting as soon as possible. Based in Broken Hill, NSW, this role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic surgical environment where your clinical skills and theatre expertise will be valued. The position is remunerated at AUD***** to AUD***** per hour, depending on experience and classification.

AUD***** to AUD***** per hour, plus superannuation and applicable penalties

Work alongside an experienced surgical team in a regional health service

Preferred Requirements
n
n




Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
n
Demonstrated experience working in an operating theatre setting
n
Pre-admission clinic experience or knowledge of pre-operative assessment processes
n
Robust understanding of theatre protocols, infection control, and surgical safety standards
n
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary surgical team
n

Preferred Qualifications
n
n
Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification with current AHPRA registration
n
Post-graduate qualification or certification in perioperative nursing
n
Current First Aid and CPR certification
