Job Description
As a highly regarded and successful regional transport company, Kane Transport is seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to join our team on a full time basis.
n
This highly challenging but rewarding position will see the successful applicant lead a team of up to 20 drivers and liaise closely with our customers.
n
In addition, day to day responsibilities will include:
n
Coordinating and scheduling drivers daily runs and weekly work schedules.
n
Deliver driver debriefs, OHS reporting and incident management.
n
Assist with the coordination of compliance measures including mass and fatigue management along with vehicle maintenance.
n
Lead high level customer service within the team.
n
Assist with recruitment, training and overall management of drivers with a focus on continuous improvement.
n
Manage warehouse stock movements.
n

Experience in an operations management or scheduling role.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and manage many competing priorities.

Be a clear and solid communicator with an ability to accurately forecast workloads.

Strong problem solving ability.
n
Commitment to safety, quality and customer satisfaction.
n
Show diligence and accuracy in work.
n
Intermediate Outlook, Excel and Word experience.
n
Willingness to respond to internal and external stakeholders calls out of hours as required.
n
