HR or HC Truck Mounted Forklift Operator
JC Karriers is seeking an experienced Truck Mounted Forklift Operator to join our growing transport and logistics team based in Woombye, QLD. This is a full-time position offering an excellent opportunity to work with a reputable company in the road transport industry. You will be responsible for delivering goods safely and efficiently to our customers across the region, operating HR and/or HC class vehicles with a rear truck-mounted forklift. This role is essential to our operations, ensuring timely and professional service delivery to our valued clients.
Key responsibilities
Operate HR and/or HC class vehicles to transport and deliver goods to designated locations in a secure and timely manner with our rear truck-mounted forklift.
HR and/or HC Fulltime Position is predominantly truck-mounted forklift unloading Hebel and after building products.
Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and report any mechanical issues
Use truck-mounted forklift equipment to load and unload freight at distribution points and customer locations
Maintain accurate delivery records, documentation and GPS tracking systems
Communicate professionally with customers and ensure goods are delivered in good condition
Comply with all relevant road transport regulations, safety standards and company policies
Plan and execute efficient delivery routes to minimise fuel consumption and meet delivery schedules
Conduct vehicle safety checks and maintain logbooks in accordance with transport legislation
What we're looking for
Current,



valid HR and/or HC driving licence
Proven experience as a delivery driver in the road transport sector
Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and transport compliance requirements
Excellent driving record with no serious driving violations
Physical fitness and ability to perform manual handling tasks regularly
Professional communication skills and a customer-focused approach
Reliability, punctuality and a strong commitment to safety
Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and delivery management software is advantageous
First aid certification or willingness to obtain it would be highly valued
