About the Role
An exciting prospect exists for a motivated registered nurse with experience in Colorectal, Urology and Gastroenterology. You would be responsible for providing comprehensive nurse care including, but not limited to:
Managing the physical and emotional well-being of the patient
Administration of medication in accordance with hospital procedures and policies
Assist with medical and diagnostic procedures carried out on the ward
Effective admission & discharge processes in accordance with hospital or ward guidelines
Participate in ongoing education by attending training and study days as required or requested
Classifications
Classifications for this position will range between YP3 – YP9 ($86,****** - $107,****** per annum, pro rata).
Your Contribution
Bachelor of nursing
Current AHPRA registration without restrictions
Previous experience in Colorectal, Urology and Gastroenterology nursing is desirable
Excellent communication skills
Demonstrated ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
Demonstrated time management with ability to prioritise activities
Current National criminal history check, or willing to obtain

About 7 East 7 East is a 28 bed ward caring for patients under the Colorectal, Urology and Gastroenterology units. It is a fast‐paced ward with high acuity, admitting patients both electively and through the Emergency Department. The team is highly skilled and supportive with a strong focus on multidisciplinary care, education and research.
