Recruitment has partnered with a growing and innovative technology business with a strong reputation for delivering reliable, high-quality solutions to clients across Melbourne. Due to continued growth, they're looking to add a hands-on and technically minded Field Service Technicianto their team.
This is a full-time opportunity suited to someone who enjoys troubleshooting, working with technology and getting out on the road to resolve issues directly with clients. You'll be working across client sites throughout Melbourne, providing technical support, maintaining equipment and assisting with installations, while also supporting the internal team with backend systems and administration.

What you'll be doing
Attending client sites to diagnose and resolve technical and hardware issues
Providing technical support to clients via email, phone and digital platforms
Troubleshooting hardware, software and connectivity issues
Performing routine maintenance, cleaning and servicing of equipment
Monitoring equipment remotely and responding to faults as required
Learning and managing internal monitoring software and backend systems
Installing and setting up equipment at client locations
Assisting with interstate installations when required
Working closely with internal teams to coordinate installations and technical requirements




Maintaining accurate fault logs, service records and technical documentation
Responding to client enquiries with a professional and solutions-focused approach
Escalating more complex technical issues where required and following them through to resolution
Supporting backend administration and logistics using digital tools
Keeping up to date with hardware and software requirements
Identifying recurring technical issues and assisting with long-term solutions
Ensuring equipment and client sites are maintained to a high standard
What we're looking for
Previous experience in field service, technical support, IT support, electronics or a similar role
Strong computer and technical skills
Ability to quickly learn new software, hardware and backend systems
Confident troubleshooting technical issues independently
Strong problem-solving skills and a calm approach under pressure
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Confident dealing directly with clients
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Basic programming, coding or HTML knowledge would be highly regarded
Comfortable using AI and modern digital tools
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Happy working hands-on and travelling to client sites
Melbourne-based and able to work onsite when required
Flexible and available to work across a rotating roster
Current driver's licence
Reliable, motivated and customer focused
