Absolute Tiling & Stone (ATS), part of the Versatile Group, is a values-driven specialist contractor delivering premium tiling and stonework across major residential, retail, mixed-use, defence and education projects.
With a team of80+ peopleand a strong pipeline of work ahead, we are seeking an experiencedProject Managerto take ownership of tiling and stone packages from tender handover through to completion.
This is an approximately80% office-based / 20% site-basedrole, combining project management, commercial coordination, technical delivery and site leadership.

Key Responsibilities
Manage tiling and stone projects from tender handover through to completion and defects close-out.
Review scopes, tender documentation and drawings to develop effective project delivery strategies.
Manage programs, sequencing, procurement and resource planning.
Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, materials and site activities.
Liaise with builders, head contractors, consultants, architects and internal project teams.
Coordinate shop drawings, RFIs, approvals and project documentation.
Monitor budgets, costs, variations, progress claims and supplier invoices.
Conduct site inspections and quality checks to ensure works meet project requirements, Australian Standards and ATS benchmarks.
Promote strong WHSE standards and a proactive zero-harm culture.
Manage project reporting, defects and close-out requirements.
Build robust relationships with clients,



builders, subcontractors and suppliers.
About You
You are organised, proactive and commercially minded, with the ability to take ownership of projects and coordinate multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced construction environment.
This opportunity could suit someone currently working as a:
Project Manager or Project Engineer
Experienced tradesperson who has progressed off the tools
We are looking for:
3–5+ years' experiencein project management, project engineering, site supervision or construction delivery.
Experience in tiling, stone, finishes or specialist subcontracting is highly regarded, with broader construction experience also considered.
Strong understanding of construction sequencing and subcontractor management.
Experience managing budgets, variations, procurement and project costs.
Strong communication, negotiation, leadership and problem-solving skills.
Good understanding of WHSE, Australian Standards and construction requirements.
Construction Management, Engineering or related qualifications are preferred but not essential where equivalent industry experience can be demonstrated.
Experience withProcore, Aconex, Payapps, Jobpac, Buildlogic or MS Projectwill be highly regarded.
