Modus Projects is looking for an experienced Carpenter / Handyman to join our team across two dedicated commercial sites in Sunshine West and Tullamarine .

With flexible 3-day or 5-day options , this role is ideal for someone who wants the stability of allocated sites while still having the prospect to work across a broader Facilities Maintenance portfolio.

What You'll Be Doing
Preventative and reactive maintenance across allocated commercial sites
General carpentry, repairs and handyman works
Site inspections and identifying maintenance requirements
Repairs to fixtures, fittings and general building elements
Minor patching and building maintenance
Responding to site requests and completing work orders
Maintaining high standards of workmanship and presentation
Working independently while being supported by our Head Office team




Using a phone and tablet to manage work orders and maintenance records

What We're Looking For
Relevant Carpentry, Building or similar trade qualification
Commercial maintenance experience highly regarded
Robust general carpentry and handyman skills
Ability to work independently and take ownership of allocated sites
Solid communication and customer service skills
Valid Australian Driver's Licence
Comfortable using a smartphone/tablet for work orders
Additional trade tickets or certifications are an advantage
Ability to successfully complete required police check and medical
