Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, the role delivers evidence-based clinical assessment, treatment and care coordination within a trauma informed and culturally sensitive framework.

Key responsibilities /n

/n
Conduct timely clinical assessments (urgent and routine) in line with risk, urgency and the National Mental Health Triage Scale, utilising appropriate clinical systems and tools.

/n
Deliver evidence-based, holistic mental health care including pharmacological and therapeutic interventions within a recovery-focused, trauma-informed framework.

/n
Collaborate with consumers, families, carers and multidisciplinary teams to develop care plans, safety plans, reviews and discharge planning.

/n
Provide direct clinical interventions including individual, group and family work,



psychoeducation and facilitation of access to appropriate services.

What you need /n

/n
Registration/qualification in a relevant discipline (Mental Health Nursing, Social Work, Psychology or Occupational Therapy) with eligibility for AHPRA or relevant qualified body membership.

/n
At least 2 years’ post-registration experience in the mental health field with sound contemporary clinical skills.

/n
Solid organisational, time-management and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a complex workplace.
