Programmed Skilled Workforce are currently seeking reliable and hardworking Forklift
Labourers
for a busy
timber mill in Fyshwick
. This is an ongoing casual opportunity offering full-time hours (38 per week) with potential for long-term work for the right candidate.
About the Role n
Working within a fast-paced timber production environment, you will be responsible for supporting the manufacturing of timber battens and assisting with general site operations.
Key Responsibilities n
n
Operating a forklift to move timber products safely around site
n
Assisting with production line duties
n
Stacking, sorting and strapping timber
n
Manual handling and repetitive lifting
n
Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
n
Supporting yard and dispatch teams as required
n
To Be Successful, You Will Have n
n
Current Forklift Licence (essential)
n
Previous experience in a timber mill, manufacturing or heavy industrial environment (highly regarded)
n
Robust commitment to workplace health and safety
n
Ability to work in a physically demanding role
n




Reliable transport and strong work ethic
n
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
n

38 hours per week (Monday to Friday) 6am to 2:30pm
