About the Role
n
We're looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Yard Hand/ Sales Assistant to join our team at the both the Maitland & Thornton Yards. If you are keen to learn all there is to know about landscape products this is the role for you.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Serve customers in-store and over the phone
n
Assist with loading customers and stock control in the yard
n
Provide friendly, skilled customer service
n
Operate our computer-based point-of-sale system (training provided)
n




Assist customers with product selection and basic advice
n
Help schedule deliveries to ensure timely customer service
n
n
About You
n
n
Positive attitude and strong work ethic
n
Confident communicator with a professional phone manner
n
Comfortable using computers and willing to learn new systems
n
Knowledge of landscaping products or experience in a similar industry is an advantage (but not essential)
n
Truck and/or forklift licence highly regarded
n
School leavers keen to start a career in the landscaping industry are encouraged to apply
