Key Responsibilities
Fabricating, assembling, and modifying custom steel moulds to exact specifications for concrete pouring.




Reading and interpreting complex engineering blueprints and technical drawings.
Performing high-quality MIG welding, cutting, and grinding on heavy gauge steel.
Conducting quality checks on finished moulds to ensure they can withstand high casting pressures.
Maintaining a clean workspace and strictly adhering to all site health and safety protocols.

What You Need to Succeed
A relevant Australian Trade Qualification (Boilermaking, Heavy Fabrication, or similar).
Proven experience in heavy steel fabrication (prior experience with precast moulds is highly advantageous).
High proficiency in MIG welding and the ability to work independently from detailed plans.
A strong work ethic, reliability, and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Reliable transport to commute to the Rutherford workshop.
