The Company is seeking a Chief Nursing and Midwifery Officer to take on a significant executive leadership role. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing professional and strategic leadership in nursing and midwifery, with a focus on strengthening the fundamentals of safe, person-centered care. This role also involves leading executive oversight of residential aged care services and non-clinical support services, including food, security, and contracted services.
The Chief Nursing and Midwifery Officer will be expected to build nursing and midwifery leadership capability, succession, and long-term workforce planning across a large, complex workforce, and work in collaboration with union and industrial partners.



Applicants for the Chief Nursing and Midwifery Officer position at the company should hold current registration as a Registered Nurse and/or Midwife with AHPRA and a relevant postgraduate qualification at the Master's level. A substantial executive leadership experience in a large, complex health service, with authority across nursing and midwifery practice, is essential.
The role requires a proven track record of turning strategy into measurable improvements in care, safety, workforce, and organizational performance. Confidence in engaging with unions and industrial partners is necessary, and midwifery experience is highly regarded. The ideal candidate will demonstrate contemporary, visible, and team-oriented leadership, with the ability to navigate complexity and lead through change.
