Meat Process Workers / Machine Operators

Programmed is currently seeking reliable and motivated Production Workers and Machine Operators to join a leading food manufacturing company based in Truganina.
n
These positions offer an immediate start with full training provided. Successful candidates will work in a fast-paced production environment processing and packaging raw beef and pork products.

What's on offer

Day Shift: Monday to Friday
n
Hours: Approximately 5:30 AM - 3:50 PM
n
Pay Rate: $***** per hour
n

About your new role
n
n
Working in a temperature-controlled environment (approximately 7°C)
n
Handling and processing raw beef and pork products
n
Debagging large cuts of beef and pork and transferring products onto production lines
n
Operating production machinery (Machine Operator positions)
n
General meat processing and packaging duties
n
Loading and unloading crates onto production lines
n
Using a small hooked knife to safely remove packaging from meat products
n
Maintaining production line efficiency and meeting daily production targets
n
Following food safety, hygiene, quality, and workplace safety procedures
n
General housekeeping and maintaining a clean and organised work area
n

About you
n
n




Previous experience in food production, manufacturing, machine operation, or meat processing (preferred)
n
Experience operating production machinery (for Machine Operator roles)
n
Comfortable working in a cold environment (approximately 7°C)
n
Comfortable handling raw beef and pork products
n
Strong literacy and numeracy skills (must successfully complete an assessment)
n
Full Australian working rights
n
Physically fit and able to perform repetitive manual handling
n
Able to stand for extended periods in a fast-paced production workplace
n
Willing to remove jewellery, piercings, fake nails, nail polish, eyelash extensions, and hair extensions before commencing work
n
Able to complete pre-employment requirements and mandatory online training
n
