Put your heavy vehicle driving skills to work on projects that shape the future of Ipswich.
We're looking for a capable Heavy Vehicle Operator who takes pride in operating their equipment safely, efficiently and to a high standard to join our Capital Delivery Team. You will operate a range of heavy vehicles and plant equipment contributing to the construction, maintenance, and improvement of vital community infrastructure projects across the city.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
Operate plant and equipment such as water truck and tandem tippers
Ensure all machinery and equipment are maintained
Follow safety standards when loading, unloading and operating loaded vehicles
Prepare and apply materials efficiently and safely

About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
Current HR Class Driver's Licence
Previous experience working in heavy vehicle operation
General Safety Induction (Construction Industry) card
Certificate 3 in Civil Construction or construction knowledge and experience is highly desirable
Be self-sufficient and able to work under minimal supervision

This is a full time permanent position with a salary commencing from $73,860 plus 12.5% superannuation.
