Infosys Consulting is seeking an experienced Security Engineer / Delivery Lead to join our Cyber Security practice in Sydney. This role is ideal for a security professional with strong consulting experience and a proven track record delivering complex cybersecurity initiatives within the Telecommunications industry.

The successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor to clients, leading security delivery engagements, managing stakeholders, and ensuring successful implementation of security solutions aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
n
Security Delivery Leadership
n
n
Lead end-to-end delivery of cybersecurity programs and initiatives for telecommunications clients.
n
Manage project scope, timelines, risks, dependencies, and delivery outcomes.
n
Coordinate with client and cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of security projects.
n
Oversee security solution design, implementation, testing, and transition to operations.
n

Cyber Security Engineering
n
n
Design and implement enterprise security solutions across network, cloud, infrastructure, and applications.
n
Provide technical leadership in areas such as:
n
Identity & Access Management (IAM)
n
Security Operations (SOC)
n
SIEM and Threat Monitoring
n
Network Security
n
Cloud Security (AWS, Azure, GCP)
n
Vulnerability Management
n
Zero Trust Architecture
n
Support security assessments, architecture reviews, and risk mitigation activities.
n
Act as a trusted cybersecurity advisor to client stakeholders.
n
Translate business requirements into practical security solutions.
n
Conduct workshops, assessments, and executive-level presentations.
n
Develop cybersecurity strategies, roadmaps,



and security transformation initiatives.
n
Provide recommendations aligned with industry-leading security frameworks and best practices.
n

Stakeholder Management

Establish strong relationships with client executives, technology leaders, and business stakeholders.
n
Manage communications across technical and non-technical audiences.
n
Facilitate governance forums, steering committees, and project status reviews.
n
Drive consensus among multiple stakeholder groups in complex delivery environments.

Required Skills & Experience
n
Technical Skills
n
n
Strong experience in cybersecurity engineering and solution delivery.
n
Deep knowledge of enterprise security technologies and frameworks.
n
Experience with cloud security controls across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
n
Understanding of network security architecture and telecommunications environments.
n
Knowledge of security monitoring, incident response, and vulnerability management.
n




Proven experience working within consulting or professional services organizations.
n
Excellent stakeholder management and client engagement capabilities.
n
Ability to lead workshops, influence decision-making, and communicate effectively with senior executives.
n
Solid program and project delivery experience.
n

Industry Experience
n
n
7+ years of cybersecurity experience.
n
Demonstrated experience delivering security initiatives within Telecommunications or Communications Service Providers (CSPs).
n
Experience working in complex enterprise transformation programs.
n
Exposure to large-scale network and digital transformation initiatives preferred.
n
n
Preferred Qualifications
n
n
CISSP, CISM, CCSP, CISA, CRISC or equivalent certifications.
n
Security architecture or cloud security certifications.
n
Experience with NIST, ISO *****, CIS Controls, Essential Eight, and Zero Trust frameworks.
n
Experience working with major Telco organizations in Australia or global markets.
