We are currently seeking
expressions ofinterest
from experienced blast hole drillers for a
Casual
role working across our drilling projectswithin and across QLD.
Action Drill & Blast currently operate across the followingprojects:
Kogan Creek (between Miles and Chinchilla)
Cameby Downs (between Miles and Chinchilla)
Yarrabee (Blackwater region)
Carmichael (North Galilee Basin) - FIFO out of Rockhamptonor Townsville, or you can DIDO
Reporting to the Project manager ortheir delegate, you will be responsible for, but not limitedto:
Operating our REICHdrill C700 and C750 platform drill rigs,as well as Epiroc D65 and DML drill rigs.
Accurately checking the quality and depth of drill holesand recording ground conditions that may affect blasting
Maintaining a clean and tidy rig and reporting/addressingany maintenance faults
Demonstrate a positive attitude towards regular andreliable drill metres, rig utilisation and consumablesusage
Provide neat and complete associated documentation fordrill reports, pre-starts etc
Regularly use safety tools such as JHA's and Take 5's
Experience andQualifications:
Experience using platform rotary drill rigs (highlydesirable)
Previous experience in Blast Hole Drilling in BlackCoal mining (highly desirable)
Australian Driver Licence
Standard 11 Statement of Attainment
RII for Blast Hole Drilling - RIIBHD301E (highlydesirable)
Successful candidates will be required to undergo pre-employmentmedical assessments including a drug and alcohol screen.
