Counterbalance Forklift Operators - Port Melbourne
Action Workforce is currently seeking experienced Counterbalance Forklift Operators to join our team for ongoing casual work based in Port Melbourne.
About the Role
You will be responsible for a range of warehouse and freight duties, including:
Operating a counterbalance forklift
Loading and unloading trucks
General warehouse and general hand duties
Gating and strapping freight
Manual handling as required
Following all site safety procedures
AM Shift: 6:00am starts
Night Shift: 10:00pm starts
Monday to Friday availability required
Casual ongoing work
About You
To be successful, you will have:
Minimum 1 year of recent counterbalance forklift experience
Experience loading and unloading freight
Experience with gating and strapping
Robust safety awareness
Reliable and punctual work history
Ability to perform general hand duties and manual handling
Two work-related referees who can be contacted
Availability Monday to Friday
Flexibility to work varying hours where required
