The Role
We are seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to join a busy berry fruit packing operation in Wamuran, QLD. Working in a fast-paced pack shed workplace, you will support the safe and efficient movement of pallets and produce while assisting the packing team when required. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys practical work, values workplace safety and is comfortable working as part of a collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities
You will play an important role in keeping the pack shed running efficiently by safely operating a forklift, moving produce and supporting packing operations as needed.
Operate a forklift safely within the pack shed
Load and unload pallets from trucks
Unload fruit and move produce onto the packing line
Assist with blueberry packing when forklift duties are quieter
Follow workplace health and safety procedures
Work cooperatively with the packing and warehouse teams
Competitive rate of
$***** per hour
Seasonal employment for approximately 2 months




Consistent work with approximately 40 hours per week
Variety between forklift duties and hands-on packing work

Your Skills & Experience
Current forklift licence required
Previous experience in packing, pack shed or similar environments is highly regarded
Confident loading and unloading pallets and trucks
Strong awareness of workplace health and safety
Reliable, punctual and able to work effectively as part of a team
Comfortable assisting with packing duties when required
