The Role:
You'll ideally have some payroll experience and be looking to take the next step in your career. This could be a great opportunity for someone who has had exposure to payroll processing and is keen to continue building their knowledge in a supportive team workplace.
We're looking for someone who is organised, detail-focused and eager to learn, with a genuine interest in developing their payroll skills.
Previous experience in a payroll or payroll administration role
Exposure to processing payroll, ideally in an end-to-end environment
Basic understanding of Australian payroll legislation, including PAYG, superannuation and Fair Work
Experience with payroll systems; Employment Hero experience would be highly regarded




Strong attention to detail and a focus on accuracy
Comfortable working with numbers and payroll data
Good Excel skills and confidence working with spreadsheets
Ability to assist with payroll reconciliations and checking payroll data
Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach when responding to employee queries
Highly organised and able to meet payroll deadlines and cut-off times
Someone who is keen to learn, develop and grow their payroll career
Payroll qualification or relevant study would be advantageous but is not essential
