Senior Contracts Administrator, based in Brisbane,
who knows their numbers, understands contracts and enjoys being a key commercial partner to the project team.
This is more than contract administration. You'll have genuine ownership of the
commercial and contractual performance of your projects
, working closely with Project Managers, site teams, subcontractors and senior leadership.

The opportunity
As Senior Contracts Administrator,



you'll play a key role in ensuring your projects are commercially well managed from procurement through to final account.
You'll take responsibility for:
Project budgets, forecasting, cost control and monthly financial reporting
Subcontractor and supplier procurement, tender evaluation and negotiation
Preparing trade packages and subcontract agreements
Progress claims, variations, EOTs, notices and contractual correspondence
Monitoring project costs, commitments, margins, risks and opportunities
Protecting RCQ's commercial and contractual position
Final accounts and project close-out
Building robust relationships with subcontractors, suppliers and project stakeholders
Supporting and mentoring Contracts Administrators, Cadets and Trainees.
Most importantly, you'll
know where your project stands commercially
, identify risks early and work alongside the Project Manager to achieve the best possible project outcome.
About you
You're an experienced
Senior Contracts Administrator or accomplished Contracts Administrator ready to step up
.
You'll bring:
Strong commercial and/or industrial construction experience (5-10 years' experience)
Sound knowledge of construction contracts and subcontract administration
Proven experience managing budgets, forecasts and cost reporting
Strong procurement, tendering and subcontractor negotiation skills
Experience managing claims, variations, EOTs, notices and final accounts
The ability to identify commercial and contractual risks before they become problems
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
A practical, collaborative approach and willingness to take ownership.
A qualification in
Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
is preferred; however, we also value substantial relevant industry experience.
Experience with
JobPac, Procore or similar construction systems
will be highly regarded.
