The Opportunity

Rehabilitation/Geriatrics Physician
to take over a well-established private practice following the planned retirement of the current Visiting Medical Officer (VMO).

The Role
You will provide specialist rehabilitation services across inpatient and day rehabilitation programs, including:
Comprehensive admission assessments and rehabilitation planning
Ongoing inpatient and day rehabilitation management
Clinical leadership within a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team
Coordination of patient-centred rehabilitation programs
Discharge planning and continuity of care
Opportunity to further develop and expand private rehabilitation services

Requirements
Fellowship of the
Australasian Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine (FAFRM)
or RACP Geriatrics equivalent
Specialist Registration (or eligibility) with
AHPRA
in Rehabilitation/Geriatrics Medicine
Experience in inpatient and/or day rehabilitation medicine
Excellent communication and multidisciplinary team skills
