Events and / or Fundraising Coordinators

**Role:**
n The Club Events &/or Fundraising Coordinator is responsible for planning, delivering and promoting fundraising, social and community events, while managing all public relations, marketing and media activities.
n
**Responsibilities**
(but not limited to):
n
n
Convene and lead an Events & Fundraising Working Group.
n
Assist with Developing an annual fundraising and social events plans that aligned with club financial goals and calendar.
n
Generate increased income from existing fundraising sources and identify recent opportunities.
n
Organise and roster team dinners/bake sales/BBQ for Junior teams with Team Managers.
n
Work with the Treasurer to define short and long-term fundraising needs and budgets for upcoming event.
n
Develop and present event budgets for Committee approval.
n
Recruit, support and manage event volunteers.
n
Oversee the planning, marketing, delivery and evaluation of fundraising and social events.
n
Supervise the collection, recording, and reconciliation of funds raised, ensuring Treasurer policies are followed.

Work with Social Media Coordinator to maximise the clubs' social presences and events.
n
n
**Skills and Attributes:**

Excellent team management, motivation and coordination skills.
n
Strong communication, writing and presentation skills.
n
Good interpersonal and community engagement skills.
n
Experience in event management, promotions or PR is highly desirable but not essential.
n
Highly motivated, organised and proactive.
