You will work closely with the Principal Solicitor, a highly strategic family lawyer who handles a wide range of matters - from complex parenting disputes and/or complex financial cases. You will gain hands‐on experience, develop advocacy confidence, and build robust drafting skills from the start.

You will be trusted to run your own files (with support), not micromanaged and given genuine opportunities to grow your career in a firm that is expanding.

What you will be doing
n
n
Managing your own matters with appropriate supervision
n
Drafting Court documents including Initiating Applications and Affidavits
n
Preparing financial disclosure and evidence
n
Attending Court, mediations and conciliations
n
Briefing and liaising with Counsel
n
Conducting legal research
n
Meeting directly with clients and guiding them through difficult situations
n
Preapring Applications for Consent Orders
n
n
Who this Role Suits
n
This role is ideal for a solicitor with at least 2+ years PQE who:
n

Has a desire to live on the beautiful South Coast of NSW;
n




Has a keen interest in family law;
n
Has 2+ years of family law experience;
n
Has exceptional emotional intelligence and ability to guide clients through difficult times;
n
Has the ability to work autonomously;
n
Has the willingness and ability to bring in new matters/clients to the firm;
n
Has a commitment to mentoring junior staff;
n
Shows a collaborative approach to promote resolution for our clients and their families.

Wants hands‐on responsibility, not just administrative tasks;
n
Is confident, motivated and eager to develop advocacy and strategy skills;
