About the Role
n
As a Diesel Fitter, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of a range of heavy earthmoving equipment, ensuring all work is completed safely,



efficiently and to a high standard.
n
Your responsibilities will include:
n
n
Carrying out machine maintenance, including component replacements, overhauls and general repairs
n
Performing fault finding, diagnostics and preventative maintenance servicing
n
Completing daily refuelling and equipment inspections
n
Undertaking planned repairs within required timeframes and cost expectations
n
Following procedure-based preventative maintenance systems
n
Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and contributing practical solutions
n
Working effectively both independently and as part of a wider maintenance team
n

About You
n
n
A relevant trade qualification as a Heavy Duty Diesel Fitter, Plant Mechanic or LV Fitter/Mechanic
n
Post-trade experience within the mining industry
n
Demonstrated experience working on heavy earthmoving equipment in a workshop environment
n
Current Queensland Driver Licence
n
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities
n
A strong work ethic and commitment to safe work practices
n
The ability to work autonomously while contributing positively to a team environment
n
