Are you a Graduate or Early Career Speech Pathologist looking for a role where you can genuinely learn, develop and feel supported?
This opportunity has been designed with early career clinicians in mind.
Rather than spending your week working alone in the community,
you'll be joining an established multidisciplinary team with access to experienced senior clinicians, regular support and multiple clinic locations across Sydney.
The organisation operates across
three key Sydney areas – The Hills District, Western Sydney and the Inner West
– allowing them to offer clinicians a location and caseload that works around where they live.
Why this role stands out
One of the biggest challenges for new graduate Speech Pathologists is finding the right balance between independence and support.
While plenty of Speech Pathology roles are heavily community-based, this position gives you the opportunity to spend the majority of your week working alongside other clinicians in a clinic environment.
A typical week can look like:
3 days working from clinic
1 day completing local community visits
1 day working from home
Car allowance provided for community-based work
You'll have senior clinicians around you to ask questions, discuss cases and continue developing your clinical confidence.
Caseload
The primary caseload is
paediatric
, working with children across a range of presentations and developmental needs.
Depending on your interests, there is also scope to work with
adult clients
and gradually build experience across different areas of Speech Pathology.
The team wants clinicians to develop in areas they genuinely enjoy, rather than simply being handed a generic caseload.
Team & Support
You'll be joining a genuine multidisciplinary environment and working alongside other allied health professionals.
For a graduate or junior clinician, this means having people around you to learn from rather than trying to figure everything out independently.
The organisation has experienced senior clinicians within the team who can provide guidance, mentoring and clinical support as you develop.
What's on offer
Salaries starting from
$85,000 + super for graduates
Higher packages available depending on experience
Graduate and early-career focused support
Access to experienced senior clinicians
Multidisciplinary team environment
Three clinic locations across Sydney
Primarily clinic-based rather than fully mobile
Predominantly paediatric caseload
Adult caseload available if this interests you
Car allowance for community visits
Work-from-home flexibility
Opportunity to build your confidence without feeling isolated
Long-term career development within an established allied health team
Who this would suit
This would be an excellent opportunity for a current graduate looking for their first Speech Pathology position, or an early career clinician who may currently be working in a heavily community-based role and wants more structure, support and interaction with a team.
If having experienced clinicians around you, working from a clinic and continuing to learn are important to you, this role is definitely worth exploring.
