Forklift Operators – Cold Storage | AM $***** – PM $***** + Freezer Allowance

Are you an experienced Forklift Operator looking for an ongoing role with a reputable company and the chance to secure permanent employment?
n
We are currently seeking experienced operators with double-deep High Reach experience who are comfortable working in freezer environments and operating up to 7 bays high.
n
Please note: This is a hands-on role. You will be required to get on and off the forklift throughout the shift, so we are looking for reliable all-rounders who are comfortable with physical work.

The Role
n
n
High Reach forklift operation including putaways, replenishments and bulk pallet picks
n
Double-deep High Reach experience is essential
n
Confident operating up to 7 bays high
n
Counterbalance operation including loading and unloading
n
Working in freezer environments of up to -27°C
n
Working across cross-dock, chiller and freezer areas
n
Case picking using RF scanners
n
Tugger operation and manual handling as required
n
Monday to Friday ongoing work
n
$*****–$***** per hour + $2.16 per hour freezer allowance + OT!!
n
AM Shift: 5:00am start
n
PM Shift: 1:00pm start
n
Cold storage equipment provided
n

What We're Looking For
n
n
Hold a valid forklift licence
n
Have strong double-deep High Reach experience
n
Are comfortable working at height
n
Have previous freezer/cold storage experience
n
Are physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
n
Have RF scanning and picking experience
n
Are reliable, punctual and safety-focused
n
Are comfortable working in temperatures as low as -27°C
n
Have their own suitable freezer gear
n
