About Australian Performance Motorcycles
Australian Performance Motorcycles is a growing specialist motorcycle workshop based in Raymond Terrace, specialising in servicing, repairs, diagnostics and performance work for customers across Newcastle, the Hunter and Port Stephens.
We pride ourselves on technical expertise, quality workmanship and customer trust and are now ready to expand our team.

The workshop is currently owner-operated, providing the successful candidate with the opportunity to work directly alongside the owner in a hands‐on role with genuine autonomy.
As the business grows, the right person will have the opportunity to take on greater responsibility and progress into a leading technical role within the workshop.

The role
Your work will include:
Motorcycle servicing and scheduled maintenance
Mechanical and electrical fault diagnosis
Engine, transmission and drivetrain repairs
Brake, suspension and steering work
Performance modifications and specialist motorcycle work
Delivering consistently high-quality workmanship across all jobs
Maintaining accurate job and service records




There will be plenty of variety, with the prospect to work across different makes, models and types of motorcycles.
We're looking for someone who:
Holds a recognised Motorcycle Mechanic trade qualification
Has experience working with Ducati and Harley Davidson models (desirable)
Has MIG or TIG welding experience (desirable)
Has solid experience in a professional motorcycle workshop
Is confident diagnosing faults and solving problems
Has strong mechanical and electrical knowledge
Can work independently and take ownership of jobs
Takes genuine pride in their workmanship
Is reliable, organised and professional
Is committed to safety and quality
Has a genuine interest in motorcycles
Experience with performance motorcycles, modifications, dyno tuning or high‐performance applications will be highly regarded.

You don't need to know everything — but you do need to care about doing the job properly, be willing to learn and be someone we can trust to take ownership of their work.
