Casual Receptionist - Holiday Accommodation

As one of the first points of contact for guests, you'll play an key role in making sure their stay runs smoothly from booking through to departure. This is a varied, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working with people, providing great customer service and being part of a small, supportive accommodation team.

Key responsibilities
Welcoming guests and managing check-ins and check-outs
Responding to guest enquiries by phone, email and in person
Taking and managing accommodation bookings
Assisting guests with questions, requests and local recommendations
Processing payments and maintaining accurate reservation information
Liaising with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure rooms are ready for arriving guests
Assisting with general reception and administrative duties
Helping resolve guest concerns in a friendly and skilled manner




Supporting the wider team with the day-to-day operation of the resort

About you
Friendly, approachable and genuinely enjoys dealing with people
Reliable and able to work independently when required
Confident communicating both in person and over the phone
Comfortable using computers, email and booking systems
Organised and able to manage multiple tasks during busy periods
Calm and solutions-focused when dealing with guest issues
Well presented with a qualified attitude
Willing to learn and be part of a close-knit team

Previous experience in hotel, resort, holiday accommodation, reception or customer service would be highly regarded, although we're also happy to consider someone with the right attitude and willingness to learn

Experience with Resley (PMS) is an advantage.
