About the role
In this role, you will promote optimal child health and wellbeing in children under school age whose health and developmental outcomes have been identified as being at risk.

Key responsibilities include:
The provision of a Family Support Service delivered within service/s program standards and frameworks.
A commitment to the provision of a quality service and continuous improvement.
Maintain professional knowledge and skills and apply theoretical frameworks to evidence based interventions.
Develop and maintain partnerships with relevant services with a collaborative, integrated approach.
Support the development and updating of relevant procedures, policy and materials related to work in Family Services Development
Contribute to the overall development of the service by displaying team work.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will have a relevant university or graduate qualification (for example in allied health, community services) with a minimum of 4 years work experience.
Sound knowledge and experience in providing therapeutic evidenced based interventions to vulnerable infants and their families.
A sound knowledge and demonstrated experience in providing case management to families where there are complex and multiple issues.




A capacity to apply a range of theoretical and assessment frameworks and to integrate them into practice.
An ability to liaise and consult with a range of professionals.
A demonstrated knowledge of attachment theory and the ability to implement this knowledge into practice.
A current employee Working with Children check.
Preferred candidates will be required to undergo a National Police Check as part of the recruitment process (funded by the City).
