Join the team at UQ Sport's Aquatic Centre and play a key role in creating an exceptional experience for members, Learn to Swim participants and visitors. As a Casual Customer Service Officer for our Aquatics & Retail Services, you'll be the welcoming face of our facility, supporting daily operations across customer service, retail and café environments while helping promote the products and services that keep our community active and engaged.

You'll work alongside a supportive team while gaining valuable experience across customer service, retail operations and aquatic centre activities.
Key responsibilities will include:
Deliver exceptional customer service to members, guests and Learn to Swim families.
Process retail and café transactions, including food and beverage preparation, sales and customer enquiries.
Support enrolments, bookings and day-to-day customer administration.
Promote UQ Sport programs, services and membership offerings.
Provide relief Lifeguard coverage and help maintain a safe aquatic environment.
Contribute to a safe, clean and welcoming aquatic centre environment
About You
Friendly, approachable and confident engaging with a diverse range of people.
A collaborative team player who enjoys supporting colleagues and customers.
Motivated to learn, develop new skills and contribute to a positive team culture.




Able to take initiative and work effectively in a dynamic environment.
Current First Aid & CPR certification and Blue Card, or willingness to obtain prior to commencement. Lifeguard Qualifications will be highly desirable but not essential.
Previous customer service, retail, hospitality, aquatic or recreation experience will be highly regarded
