Ballarat Plastic Surgery by WPRS is a new specialist medical clinic being established in Ballarat as part of the WPRS Group.

As we establish and grow the clinic, we are seeking an experienced Clinic Operations Manager to oversee its day-to-day operations and support the delivery of high-quality specialist care.

This is a hands-on management role suited to someone with experience in healthcare, medical practice management or a similar clinical environment who enjoys working closely with doctors, staff and patients.

About the role
n
Working closely with the WPRS CEO, Directors and broader management team, you will be responsible for the smooth day-to-day operation of the Ballarat clinic.
n
Your responsibilities will include:
n
n
Overseeing the day-to-day clinical and administrative operations of the clinic
n
Leading and supporting the local administrative and clinical team
n
Coordinating staffing, rostering and clinic requirements
n
Supporting recruitment, onboarding and training of new staff
n
Working closely with specialist doctors and other practitioners consulting from the clinic
n
Monitoring bookings,
patient flow and clinic utilisation
n
Overseeing stock, consumables and equipment requirements
n
Supporting clinical governance, quality improvement and compliance
n
Assisting with monitoring clinic expenditure, revenue and performance against budget
n
Supporting the introduction and growth of new clinical services
n
Developing relationships with local hospitals, referring practitioners and other healthcare providers
n
n
About you
n
We are looking for someone who is organised, practical and comfortable taking responsibility for the day-to-day running of a busy medical environment.
n
You will ideally have:
n
n
Experience in medical practice management, healthcare administration or clinical operations
n
Experience supervising or coordinating staff
n
Strong organisational and communication skills
n
An understanding of patient confidentiality and clinical governance
n
Confidence working directly with medical practitioners and senior management
n
The ability to identify problems and take a practical approach to resolving them
n
n
Previous experience in a specialist medical or surgical environment would be highly regarded.
