Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our manufacturing team based in Goulburn. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the productive operation and maintenance of electrical systems within our operations facility. This position is vital for maintaining safety standards and optimising processes, contributing to the overall success of our operations.

Responsibilities:
Install and maintain electrical systems to machinery including upgrades to existing equipment
Install new equipment, including current sub-boards and general industrial building circuits.
Prevent breakdown of electrical systems by routinely inspecting and maintaining equipment
Carry out work of a non-electrical nature in order to maintain equipment and machinery




Carry out non-electrical general machinery maintenance as scheduled and any urgent after-hours breakdowns
Integrate quality, environmental and safety performance into all functions and activities undertaken
Travel interstate may be required
Adhere to health and safety regulations, ensuring a secure working setting for all staff.

Qualifications:
Possess a recognized trade certificate as an Electrician
To have extensive knowledge of Industrial electrical, covering all aspects of machinery, sensors, safety systems, upgrades, repairs and the like.
Extensive knowledge of PLC controllers, HMI’s, detailed machinery circuits, IT systems integrated into machinery.
Experience in Industrial Automation is required
To have good understanding of programming basic PLC systems including modification as necessary
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to diagnose and fix electrical issues
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects
