A veterinary hospital in Samford Valley is looking to build its pool of Locum Veterinary Nurses who can assist with full-day weekend shifts on an ad hoc basis.
/n
/n
This could be a excellent option if you’re already working during the week and would like to pick up occasional weekend work without committing to a regular second role.
/n
/nThe Role /n
/n
You’ll be supporting a busy veterinary hospital seeing a combination of general practice and emergency cases.
/n
/n
The team is particularly open to nurses with a solid GP background . Previous ECC experience is beneficial but isn’t essential,
particularly for experienced nurses who are interested in developing their emergency and hospital nursing skills.

/nAbout You /n
/n
Ideally, you will:
/n
/n
/n
/n
Have solid small animal veterinary nursing experience
/n
/n
Be confident with general nursing duties and patient care
/n
/n
Have good communication and teamwork skills
/n
/n
Be comfortable within a busy hospital setting
/n
/n
Have some ECC exposure or an interest in gaining further experience
/n
/n
Be available for occasional full-day weekend shifts
/n
/n
/n
/n
The hospital is happy to support nurses transitioning from GP into a role with greater exposure to emergency cases.
