About the Opportunity /n

We are seeking experienced Project Officers to support the operations of Project, Program and Portfolio Offices and contribute to the delivery of projects within the Australian Signals Directorate (ASD).

/n

This is an opportunity to work within a highly secure and complex Defence workplace, supporting project teams across project administration, governance, financial management, planning and delivery activities.

/n

The role would suit a Project Officer who enjoys working across multiple stakeholders and can bring robust organisation, communication and project coordination skills to a complex workplace.

Key Responsibilities /n

As a Project Officer, you will assist with the coordination and delivery of projects, including:

/n




Assisting with preparations for project test, evaluation and acceptance programs.

/n
Applying project management methodologies to administrative and technical activities.

/n
Researching, drafting and preparing briefs, correspondence and reports, including submissions for committee consideration.

/n
Maintaining project financial records under the limited supervision of the Project Manager.

/n
Supporting project planning, scheduling and tracking activities.

/n
Providing project administration and coordination support.

/n
Supporting project governance, assurance and quality review activities.

/n
Assisting with the management of project risks, changes, quality, finance and configuration management as required.

/n
Working with project stakeholders to support project objectives and delivery outcomes.

/n
