We're seeking a proactive and supportive Floor Coordinator to join our Miinggi Gilinggal Youth Residential Rehabilitation Service in Coffs Harbour.
n
Miinggi Gilinggal, meaning "Young Heart" in the Gumbaynggirr language, supports young people aged 13 to 18 years experiencing alcohol and other drug challenges within a residential rehabilitation setting.
n
As Floor Coordinator, you'll play an important role in supporting the day-to-day operationa of the program and creating a safe, structured and supportive environment for young people on their recovery journey.

About the Role
n
Working closely with young people and the wider team, you will:
n

Support daily routines, activities and program requirements.
n
Assist with appointments, admissions and practical support needs.
n
Complete room checks, documentation and shift handovers.
n
Support recreational, educational and life skills activities.
n
Maintain a safe, structured and welcoming workplace.
n
Respond to incidents and elevate concerns when required.
n
Work collaboratively with the wider team.
n
n
This role supports the delivery of the residential program but does not provide counselling or clinical interventions.
n
About You
n
We're looking for someone who:
n
n
Builds positive relationships with young people.
n
Is organised, adaptable and reliable.
n
Communicates effectively and works well in a team.
n
Has experience in youth work, community services, residential care, mental health, AOD or a related field.
n
Is passionate about supporting young people to achieve positive outcomes.
n
n
Essential Requirements
n
n
Certificate IV in Community Services, Youth Work, Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drugs, or a related field (or willingness to obtain).
n
Current Australian Driver Licence.
n
Ability to obtain a Working with Children Check and National Criminal History Check.
n
