About the role:
n
n
Oversee lender-side finance transactions from initial instruction through to settlement, ensuring matters are progressed efficiently, accurately and in accordance with client requirements
n
Supervise the progression of matters, review work, identify and upscale complex issues and work closely with senior members of the practice to ensure transactions are delivered to a consistently high standard
n




The role will involve regular interaction with lenders, borrowers, brokers and other transaction stakeholders
n
n
The ideal candidate:
n
n
Senior Associate or Special Counsel with experience in banking & finance, secured lending, mortgage transactions or a closely related area
n
Solid technical and organisational skill
n
Excellent attention to detail and a sound understanding of the processes required to take a lending transaction through to settlement
n
Experience acting for private lenders, non-bank lenders or financial institutions will be highly regarded
n
Commercially minded, highly organised and comfortable operating in a fast-paced transactional environment where responsiveness and accuracy are critical
