As a Collections Officer at Charter Mercantile, you will deliver vital Financial Hardship assistance on behalf of a major Australian bank.
No prior experience is required.
You will receive comprehensive, bank-certified online training designed to equip you for a rewarding in the banking and collection agency sectors.
What you'll be doing
Contacting customers to follow up on late or outstanding payments
Negotiating and arranging suitable payment plans with customers
Documenting all customer interactions and payment arrangements
Identifying and escalating high-risk accounts to management
Adhering to all relevant policies, procedures and regulatory requirements
What we're looking for
Strong communication and negotiation skills, ability to liaise effectively with customers
Excellent attention to detail and record-keeping abilities
A solutions-focused approach to problem-solving
A positive, empathetic and qualified manner when dealing with customers




Australian citizenship or permanent residency required
