The Role
n
An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Management Accountant to join the Melbourne finance team.
n
Reporting to the Financial Controller, this is a hands-on and commercially focused role supporting the financial performance of a dynamic manufacturing operation. The successful candidate will work closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, Quality, R&D; and Commercial teams, providing meaningful financial insights to improve profitability, productivity and business performance.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Manage product costing, standard costs and Bills of Materials (BOMs)
n
Analyse manufacturing variances and product profitability
n
Prepare monthly management reports, KPI analysis and performance commentary
n
Support budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning
n
Partner with operational teams to improve productivity and profitability
n
Assist with capital investment evaluations and continuous improvement initiatives
n
Maintain inventory controls and support audit and compliance requirements
n
Oversee Accounts Payable, including supplier payments,



reconciliations and procure-to-pay controls
n

About You
n
n
Degree qualified in Accounting, Finance or Commerce
n
CPA or CA qualified, or currently working towards qualification
n
Minimum 3 years' experience in Management Accounting, Cost Accounting or Manufacturing Finance
n
Experience within FMCG, food, beverage or manufacturing environments highly regarded
n
Strong knowledge of standard costing, inventory accounting, budgeting and forecasting
n
Strong analytical and business partnering capabilities
n
Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Microsoft Dynamics or MYOB Acumatica will be highly regarded
n
Comfortable working closely with manufacturing and operational stakeholders
n
